Steamboat Terms of Service
Effective date: September 4, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions of Service (the "Terms") apply to the Steamboat website located at stmbt.app, the Steamboat mobile application, and all associated sites linked to stmbt.app by Steamboat, its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, the "Site").
By accessing or using Steamboat (the "Service"), through the Site, operated by Jadon Michael De Jesus ("Steamboat," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service and/or Site.
2. Not Investment Advice / Financial Adviser
Steamboat provides data, analytics, and research tools for informational purposes only. Steamboat is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and nothing on the Service constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security.
"Bubble Pressure Index" means Steamboat's proprietary composite scoring methodology, including its underlying inputs, weighting, normalization approach, and all resulting scores, rankings, and derivative analytics. The Bubble Pressure Index and all related scores, metrics, and analytics are informational tools based on publicly available data and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any investment decision. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions, and should consult a licensed financial professional before making any.
3. Data Accuracy Disclaimer
Steamboat aggregates data from third-party sources, including SEC EDGAR filings and Alpha Vantage market data. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness, timeliness, or accuracy of any data displayed on the Service, and we are not liable for any errors, omissions, or delays in this data or for any actions taken in reliance on it.
4. Assumption of Risk
Steamboat utilizes the Content and third-party data sources, but does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or completely accurate. All calculations, graphs, and projections are estimates and simulated models. You acknowledge and agree that any use of the Site and Service may contain undetected bugs, coding errors, math defects, or data inaccuracies. You assume total responsibility and risk for verifying any outputs before making real-world financial commitments.
5. Service Limitations and Modifications
Steamboat uses reasonable efforts to keep the Site and Service operational. However, Steamboat reserves the right to change our Service offerings from time to time, without notice or liability to you. For example:
- The Site and Service may experience temporary interruptions due to technical difficulties, maintenance or testing, or updates, including those required to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
- Steamboat aims to evolve and improve the Site and Service constantly, and Steamboat may modify, suspend, or stop (permanently or temporarily) providing all or part of the Service.
- Steamboat has no obligation to provide any specific content and information through the Service, and Steamboat may remove any content and information without notice.
Steamboat will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service, and Steamboat will not be liable to you whatsoever for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by your inability to access or use the Site or Service during any downtime or discontinuance of the Service.
6. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
7. Subscriptions and Billing
- Steamboat offers a free tier and a paid "Pro" tier that is billed monthly or annually, as described on our Pricing page. You may need to create a Steamboat account to use all or part of the Service. Your username and password are for your personal use only and should be kept confidential. You are responsible for all use (including any unauthorized use) of your username and password. Notify Steamboat immediately if your username or password is lost or stolen, or if you believe there has been unauthorized access to your account. Steamboat may reclaim, or require you to change, your username for any reason.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain Pro access through that period.
- Founding member pricing, where applicable, is offered to a limited number of early subscribers and is subject to the terms displayed at the time of purchase.
- All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds for partial or completed billing periods, whether monthly or annual, except where required by applicable law.
8. Acceptable Use
You may use Steamboat, the Site, and/or the Service only for lawful personal use, and in accordance with these Terms, for informational purposes only.
Steamboat may, in its sole discretion, terminate your right to use the Site and Service at any time, and may take all available legal recourse for actual or suspected violations of these Terms. Any delay by Steamboat in taking such actions does not constitute a waiver of Steamboat's rights to enforce these Terms. By making Steamboat, the Site, and the Service available for your use, Steamboat does not consent to act as your agent or fiduciary.
9. Use Restrictions
Steamboat, the Site, and Service are intended for use only by individuals who are at least 18 years old. You are not permitted to use the Site and Service if you are under 18. Steamboat does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If Steamboat learns that a user is under 18, Steamboat will terminate that account and delete associated personal information as quickly as possible. If you believe a user of the Service is under 18, contact Steamboat at contact@stmbt.app.
You agree not to:
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract data from the Service for commercial redistribution;
- Attempt to circumvent tier-based access restrictions;
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose; and
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation or security.
10. Corrections
There may be information on the Site and Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including descriptions, pricing, informational data, and various other information. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update the information on the Site and Service at any time, without prior notice.
11. Intellectual Property
The Bubble Pressure Index (as defined in Section 2), scoring weightings, branding, and Service design (collectively, the "Content") are the property of Steamboat. The Content is subject to other intellectual property and proprietary rights and laws, and is owned by Steamboat. Underlying public data (SEC filings) remains public; Steamboat's, the Site's, and/or the Service's compiled analysis, scoring, and presentation are proprietary.
Other than with respect to your use of the Service, (a) the Content may not be copied, modified, reproduced, republished, posted, transmitted, sold, offered for sale, or redistributed in any way without our prior written permission and that of our applicable licensors; and (b) you must abide by all intellectual property notices, information, or restrictions contained in or attached to any Content. We give you a personal, revocable, non-assignable, non-sublicensable, and non-exclusive right to access and use the Service in a manner permitted by these Terms. You acknowledge that you have no right to access all or any part of the Service in source code form.
12. Links
We may provide links to other websites or internet resources for your convenience only, and such links do not signify or imply our endorsement of such other website or resource or its contents, over which we have no control and which we do not monitor. You use those links at your own risk and should apply a reasonable level of caution and discretion in doing so. You agree that we shall have no responsibility or liability for any information, software, and/or materials found at any other website or internet resource.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and your access to the Site and Service for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or at our discretion, with or without notice.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Steamboat and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or investment losses, arising from your use of the Site and Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
If, notwithstanding the other provisions of these Terms, Steamboat is found to be liable to you for any damage or loss which arises out of or is in any way connected with your use of the Site, Service, or any Content, Steamboat's liability shall in no event exceed the greater of (1) the total of any paid subscription or similar fees with respect to any service or feature of or on the Site paid in the six months prior to the date of the initial claim made against Steamboat, or (2) US$100.00. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability, so the foregoing limitation may not apply to you.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind, whether statutory, express, or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Steamboat does not warrant that the Site, Service, or Content is free of malware or other harmful components. No advice or information, whether oral or in writing, obtained by you from Steamboat shall create any warranty on behalf of Steamboat. This section applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
You agree that any dispute between you and Steamboat related to these Terms and/or your use of the Site and/or Service, during or after the termination of these Terms, will be determined by binding individual arbitration. The arbitrator has the authority to rule on all issues except that a court has exclusive authority to: (1) decide arbitrability, as well as scope, validity, and enforceability of this Arbitration Agreement; (2) decide whether you and Steamboat have complied with the pre-arbitration filing requirements; (3) enforce the prohibition on class or representative actions; (4) enforce the provisions regarding mass arbitration; and (5) enjoin an arbitration from proceeding if it does not comply with this Arbitration Agreement. THERE IS NO JUDGE OR JURY IN ARBITRATION, AND COURT REVIEW OF AN ARBITRATION AWARD IS LIMITED. The arbitrator can award the same damages and relief as a court (including attorneys' fees and costs where allowable under applicable law), except that the arbitrator may not award any relief, including declaratory or injunctive relief, benefiting anyone but the parties to the arbitration. This arbitration provision will survive termination of these Terms.
17. Class-Action Waiver
YOU EXPLICITLY WAIVE THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE AS A PLAINTIFF, CLASS MEMBER, OR REPRESENTATIVE IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, CO-PLAINTIFF, OR MASS ACTION AND/OR ARBITRATION PROCEEDING. YOU MAY ONLY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST STEAMBOAT IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY. THE COURT, JURY, AND/OR ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE CLAIMS OF MORE THAN ONE PERSON.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
No modification, amendment, or supplement of these Terms shall be valid unless it is made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of each party. Any such approved amendment or supplement shall become an integral part of these Terms and shall carry the same legal effect as the original agreement. In the event of any conflict between the terms of a written supplement and the original text, the provisions of the supplemental document shall explicitly govern.
19. Assignment
Steamboat reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to freely assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms, and any or all of its rights and obligations hereunder, to any successor entity, including but not limited to a business entity, affiliate, or purchaser of its assets, without notice to or consent from you. Upon such assignment by Steamboat, Jadon Michael De Jesus shall be fully released from all personal or individual liability, and the successor entity shall assume all rights and duties under these Terms, including any amendments and supplements thereto, as well as any other agreements between you and Steamboat.
